A man
once came to the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu'
alaihiwasallam, and complained that he feels hardness in
his heart. The Messenger of Allah said, what translated
means, "Would you like that your heart becomes soft and
that you acquire what you need? Be merciful wiht the
orphan, pat his head and feed him from what you eat.
This will soften your heart, and enable you to get what
you need." [At-Tabaraanee & As-Silsilah as-Saheehah]
The
Gaya Muslim Orphanage has several plans in the pipeline,
which are not being able to be implemented because of
lack of funds. Some of the future plans of the GMO are
the following:-

The GMO wants to raise the current strength of orphan
boys from 125 to 500. |

The GMO has 14 acres of land adjoining its campus. There
are plans to construct staff quarters and hostels for
students. |

Earlier, the GMO used to run 'Industrial Training
Institute' in its campus, and trained the students in
trades like carpentry, mechanical, electrical etc.
However, the 'Industrial Training Institute' has been
folded up. Now, the GMO wants to establish 'Technical
Training Institute', the foundation stone of which has
been laid by Governor of Bihar Dr. A. R. Kidwai in the
14 acres land of the GMO. The 'Technical Training
Institute' aims to impart vocational training in areas
such as paramedical, computers, business management etc.

The GMO wants to raise the current standard of
education. Besides Urdu medium, the GMO wants to
establish a separate English medium wing so that
students can get quality education and compete in other
areas in order to make their lives more meaningful and
gainful. |

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, has granted
the permission to the GMO to establish Centre for
Distance Education (CDE) Study Centre. Now, the
education up to Intermediate will be imparted to orphan
and non-orphan students (Boys and Girls). The GMO aims
to sustain this Centre and make efforts to get the
students education uo to Graduation level. |

The GMO currently does not have a Computer Lab, which is
quite essential in the present times. The GMO wants to
set up a modern Computer Lab that would enable students
to euip with required technical skills in order to
compete in the future. |
Keeping in view its goal to provide better quality of
life and education to the inmates, the GMO shall
continue to chalk out future plans to try implement them
as and when need be and as per available resources
during the period. |
